supercharger, pistons,
rods, charge cooler, piping and belts.
It does not include the ECU, injectors,
exhaust or installation.
* If you are running
on a standard fuel system, a set of four high-flow injectors can be supplied
for an extra £280 + VAT.

Turbo Technics TT215 supercharger system may
be fitted to all 111 and 111S Lotus Elise cars with k-series VVC engines.
Power is increased to 215bhp at 6500 rpm and torque rises to an impressive
185 lb ft. As the most powerful "Lotus production " Elise available, the
VVC (variable valve camshaft) engine, together with Turbo Technics
supercharger system produces a very fast car indeed with a 0-60mph time of
just 4.5 seconds. Retaining the engine's VVC system enables power to be
achieved at higher revs without removing the standard rev limiter.
Torque also improves significantly and overcomes this engines natural
mid-range torque deficiency. A stainless steel performance silencer is fitted as
parts of the conversion to aid high speed performance, whilst retaining the
standard catalytic converter to meet current MOT emissions. The engine
requires no specialist servicing and kit parts are covered with Turbo Technics 12 months/ 12,000
mile guarantee. No loss of luggage space. Power to weight ratio: 272bhp per
tonne.
A total engine package
In keeping with the integrated nature
of the supercharger package, a reduction of engine compression ratio is
achieved by fitting a new set of Turbo Technics pistons and connecting rods.
Special care is taken with the the rebuild to ensure a strong
and reliable engine. A Low-blow boost pressure of just 0.55 bar is produced
using Turbo Technics Geotec supercharger. A very efficient charge-cooler,
coupled to an additional front mounted radiator prevents increased engine bay
temperature, whilst an oil cooler ensures efficient engine cooling. The
standard fuel and ignition "brain" is replaced with a sophisticated digitally
mapped ECU to ensure maximum power and engine reliability, whilst retaining
the Lotus anti theft system.

Servicing and warranty
Standard servicing procedures are maintained
at a Lotus dealer or specialist. Service internals remain at manufacturers
standard intervals. Shell Helix Plus engine oil is required at all times.

Supercharger
Geotec centrifugal supercharger manufactured by Turbo Technics.
Epicyclic traction drive system. Maximum speed 90,000 revs/min. Boost
pressure 0.55 bar. Lightweight cast aluminium construction. Lubricated by
oil direct from the engine. Service intervals 60,000 miles. Dimensions: 160 x 140mm. Weight 4.8kg
Induction
High performance K&N replacement air filter element. Aluminium charge
cooler assembly with high efficiency core. Additional water radiator for
charge cooler circuit. Cast aluminium inlet manifold assembly. Uprated
crankcase ventilation system.
Cooling
Extra charge-cooler radiator mounted in front clamshell. Coolant expansion
tank and electric coolant circulation
pump. 13 row oil cooler in front
clamshell. Stainless steel braded lines.
Engine management
We no longer supply a replacement ECU system.
If you replace this, please ensure that it retains the Lotus anti
theft system, and is MOT emissions compliant.

Exhaust
A free-flow exhaust system is required, but is not included in the kit.

Fitting time
The TT190 supercharger system can be installed by
Turbo Technics at our Northampton headquarters for an extra charge. Fitting and testing takes
approximately 10 working days. Scheduled booking dates are available
upon request and confirmed with a deposit booking.
