The S164 uses the original T3 sized turbo as standard, but comes supplied with a 360 degree thrust bearing, instead of the standard 270 degree bearing. This helps the turbo to maintain high boost efficiently, and stops the turbo failing with higher shock loads. An uprated and adjustable actuator is supplied and allows the turbo to be adjusted between 15 and 30PSI maximum boost pressure. With mild engine and fuelling modifications, this turbo can support up to 300BHP.
